South Jersey Storm All Star Cheerleading was started by Rachael Rastelli in 1997.

 Under the name, “Planet Cheer”, a very special program was fostered. Starting out with just a couple of teams and involvement, the Storm legacy began. As interest grew in our program, so did our Storm Family. This is the philosophy that we believe very strongly in, FAMILY FIRST. We pride ourselves on providing a place for all cheerleaders who wish to become a part of that very special family. Within this family, we promote physical fitness, discipline, leadership, social development and academic excellence through competitive cheerleading experiences.

            South Jersey Storm is such a successful program due to it’s commitment to providing participants with premier instruction in all aspects of cheerleading. The Storm staff is one of the finest in the industry to date. Each staff member was hand picked for being able to provide the absolute best to our Storm family. Consisting of top tumbling, stunting, coaching, choreography and detail oriented instructors. They take pride in the ability to focus specific attention on each individual. All of our staff grew up in the industry and love the sport!

            The Storm facility in unmatched for what it has to offer. It is the largest in the entire northeast area. This facility is over 55,000 square feet. We offer the most space and the best equipment for our athletes to practice. Our family is constantly growing and so is our Storm facility. We take pride in all of our participants, parents and teams. When you walk through our doors, you’re not just walking into one of the best gyms in the country; you are walking into our family. We have been ranked as one of the Top All Star Programs and Facilities in the country by Cheerleader Magazine.

            As our family continues to grow, we are pleased to announce the beginning of our dance program. The South Jersey Storm Dance Starz is an exciting new program that is soon to be Top Ranked and Nationally known!  This program will offer opportunities for those that are interested in being a part of a competitive dance team. It’s sure to take off with a blast!
